Founded in December 2014 by Sydney mum of four and paediatric nurse Fatma Elzein, and run by a small, dedicated team of volunteers, Mummies Paying it Forward is a Sydney-based charity organisation created to support the most vulnerable people within our society. We provide everyday baby and chiildren’s essentials to those facing significant hardships, including those affected by poverty, homelessness, family violence, those in foster care or newly settled refugees. Through referrals submitted by case/social workers from hospitals or community agencies, vulnerable families receive our care packs to help address and alleviate some of the stress and burden of living on or below the poverty line. We take your donations of everyday new and preloved items (in great condition) and provide them to those most at risk to ensure they receive the support they need.

work with social workers and case workers through support social services agencies and hospitals to provide material aid support to vulnerable families.
work with and support, where appropriate, not for profit organisations and charities within New South Wales to help increase the reach and impact on families in crisis.
recycle, reuse and rehome essential items donated, to benefit vulnerable families across New South Wales.
ensure all care packages provided to recipients, are in great working condition and/or quality, and adhere to the appropriate Australian safety standards.
ensure all care packages are provided free of charge to families in need.
work with partners and supporters who share our vision and adhere to our guiding principles.
